I won't lie to you and say it's not a part of it, but honestly - I don't know how you make up trying to kill someone to them.

I can tell you you don't need to hide, but you won't believe me. I can tell you I haven't seen Dean feel this guilty about anything that wasn't about family in - heck never. I don't know what else to do.

Honestly, I want to believe you, and if I had proof yeah I'd be more at ease. But that works both ways - I need proof someone's done something wrong to gank them, too.

I know you can probably kill the both of us with a flick of your finger but I'm taking that fact that you didn't so far as a good sign.

How am I supposed to prove it to you? [She sounds seriously annoyed.] You know, except for not doing anything bad for the whole time I've been here. Have you heard of any animal attacks or bodies being drained? That would be because it hasn't happened.

Bodies can be hidden in the mist easily enough. [He point out] Look, like I said - I want to believe you, I like you.

[He pauses]

The mist's a bitch, you know. It messes with different people every time. It could one day end up messing with you.

[And you'd want people's understanding then.]

So far the track record isn't so good, hence why I've been keeping it a secret.

All I'm asking you is to just keep an open mind about what I'm telling you. Don't believe me, don't talk to us, don't come near us don't do anything that makes you uncomfortable, being safe's the first priority. But just - keep an open mind. Because if you get hit by the mist - you'd want others to keep an open mind about you.

Back home we hunted monsters, real monsters, that hurt people - ate them, slaughtered them - a million different things. We've been raised into it. But since we got here did we lay a finger on anyone who didn't deserve it?

No - dammit just - what I'm saying is until this mist induced madness, Dean and I didn't do anything either. So maybe you could entertain the idea that you're misjudging us too?

[Not the best thing to say to her right now.] Misjudging. [She just looks at him.] How can you say that?

If I was misjudging I would've hung up on you, I would have let Damon kill Dean or done it myself before he could even shoot me a second and third time.

Like I said, Caroline. If the mist ever hits you - I hope people take that into consideration. 'cause Dean, he never touched you while in control.
