I mean, Elena's not an expert at the compulsion rodeo. A sloppy compulsion could bring about things like, mentioning bitten necks. Telling someone not to tell their friends is separate from, say, Katherine's specialty. So, technically, he could discuss it with other people. [ A pause. ] Not that I think Elena botched her compulsion. I'm just covering all bases.
