Okay, and you've been to her place and checked with anyone she's been with here?

[ She glances back at him with a 'duh' look. She's not an amaetur, Stefan.] I've also sent her messages everyday but they don't go through.

Has anyone else had someone go missing that you can ask them what they found?

I mean a lot of people have gone. People I know.

No one has figured out where they go?

No. We've asked but we've never heard answers except that maybe they went home.

[He wrings his hands together for a moment and nods.]

Caroline, do you think she's here anywhere?

I don't want to give up on her but... [ she stops at the top of the stairs.] I don't think so. I just... feel it, you know? I mean I looked everywhere. [ But what if she's being held somewhere? Her voice cracks a bit---] I wish Bonnie was here.

[His features fall a bit with that soft break in her voice and he moves toward her, pulling her into a light hug. His hand cradles at the back of her head.]

I'm no Bonnie, but I'm also not a stranger.

I know. [ She moves to tuck his shoulder beneath her chin, her eyes closing.] But Bonnie could do a locator spell.

[Ohhhhhh... that's why she's looking for Bonnie. Welp.]

Well, until she shows up here, we're just going to have to settle with keeping an eye out for Elena and anyone else that's gone missing.

[ Having you, Stefan, is really amazing but yes, she wants Bonnie for that and so much more.]

Yeah. [ She nods, moving towards the door of her apartment to open, which looks way less cold than it used to but the furnishings are still the same because that stuff ain't cheap. And compulsion isn't her favorite thing.]

So... [He steps into her place and glances around.] This is how you're living. It's... not what I expected.

Yeah, it's not... prisony. [ She gives a shrug before she does a little turn around, indicating everything.] Its not great but its not horrible, right?
