I don't know. Learn to live with each other's terrible life choices I guess.

Tensions have been running a little high all around.

[ oh, right, because of the damon thing. caroline is starting to really hate the guilt that washes over her when it was damon who did the thing.] And Damon's your brother. [ so family over friendship. she'd probably understand better if she had any siblings herself.]

I made him what he is. There's always going to be that part of me that feels responsible for him. But I'm not just talking about Damon. Or even Klaus for that matter. The whole vibe here seems to have shifted. I can't pinpoint the why or the when, exactly. But...

In some ways I feel like I've flipped my switch. Except I obviously haven't.
